Brodie Smith’s star was born at the World Youth Championships in Hungary in 2017. It was there that she was the highest scorer in the tournament and led the young Aussies to a historic gold medal. The team then took on the Russian Paralympic Committee to mark the biggest win in their history, winning 4-1. The Belles’ Tokyo campaign ended when they were defeated 10-6 by Turkey in the quarter final.
When she’s not playing goalball, the Maitland product studies Secondary Education at Newcastle University. She enjoys reading, watching her favourite movies, and testing her luck against her friends and family in a variety of board games.
