In a busy weekend for Para-athletics, with events taking place around the world, the focus for many is on Nottwil, Switzerland.
In the last two years, no fewer than 15 world records have fallen at the renowned Swiss track, so competition is expected to be tough.
The Australian team will be out in force, with Rheed McCracken (T34), who is a regular at the annual Swiss meeting, eager to check out his major rivals – reigning World Championships medallists Walid Ktila (TUN), Mohammed Al Hammadi (UAE) and Henry Manni (FIN) – and Madison de Rozario (T53) turning her attention back to the track after an early season of marathon racing, which saw her win a bronze medal at the London Marathon in April.
Angie Ballard (T53), Chad Perris (T13), Scott Reardon (T42) and Vanessa Low (T61) will also be in action.
